Hi, I'm Zoe
Hi, my name is Zoe Beresford. I am currently 18 years old and a pre service teacher studying a bachelor of primary special education at the Australian Catholic University (ACU).

I am passionate about horses, riding since I was 6 years old. I also have a love for photography, and capturing the beautful gifts of this world. Before I was at ACU, I studied at Merici College. It was here I discovered a passion for hospitality and cooking and as a result hold a Certificate III in hospitality and a Certificate II in Kitchen operations.
I have always loved music and the arts, and this is something I would love to take into my future as a teacher. I have had significant experience in the field of music, playing piano and bass guitar as well as holding a grades 1- 5 ANZCA singing exams and also currently studying in Grade 7 singing exams.

I am passionate about well being, mental health awareness, and inclusion, something else I would love to take in to my career as a primary school teacher. This has lead me to complete 'The Science of Well-Being' course at Yale University and also a certificate I in volunteering.
Purpose

The Purpose of this Blog is to inform and express the importance of creativity in the classroom. The presence of creativity among students is vital, especially in the digital age where we are teaching students surrounded by technology. I want my posts to spark meaningful conversations in the teaching community about creativty and how it can be incorporated into the classroom.
